No one knows why Philip Kavvadias is trying to be a writer/illustrator. His writing is funny but maybe too funny and his art is imaginative but maybe too imaginative, if you know what I mean. We don’t want authors/artists like Philip Kavvadias. Every time he visits a school there is a buzz about books for weeks. No one is studying or revising. Everyone is drawing incredible worlds, fascinating machines, wild adventures. For the sake of all that is holy, arrest Philip Kavvadias.
