I’m celebrating (bit early – havent had the contract yet but I was offered the job today!) a new job at school, starting in August, which will take me into the Inclusion team and this time in the secondary school specifically in English! My creative writing club in secondary has been going really well, so I’m now really excited to see how I can use all my writing and reading of kid lit books to try and encourage every student to find a point at which they can access the English curriculum. The role is slightly less hours so HOPEFULLY I will have more energy at the end of each day to actually do some of that WRITING stuff that is the reason we are all here… fingers crossed!

I’m also celebrating having two days holiday next Thursday and Friday for Eid al Adha, so YAY some uninterrupted writing time!
