Meet the Author with E.L. Norry

February 25 @ 7:00 pm 8:00 pm

A monthly opportunity to hear our favourite authors talk about their writing journey, their process, what they’re currently working on, and answer your questions!

So happy that Em Norry (E.L. Norry/Emma Norry) will be joining us for Meet the Author in February! Em has a wealth of experience to offer hubsters and the session will be very motivating, honest, and insightful.

Em is a screenwriter who has written for Eastenders, as well as the author of both non-fiction and fiction books including Doctor Who:Origin Stories. Her journey to publication is slightly different to a lot of authors, and I can’t wait for you to hear from her!

Commissioned to write her first book, the historical Son of a Circus, Em was shortlisted for the Diverse Book Awards, and the majority of her books have been collaborations, non-fiction, or books based on real-life people.

Em created her middle grade novel, Fable House, with Storymix, the children’s fiction development company, who work collaboratively with authors, and was published by Bloomsbury in 2023. The book was nominated for the Carnegies the following year.

Her latest novel Runaways is aimed at ages 8 – 14 and is the first time Em has worked ‘solo’ on an idea of hers.

Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Em has been a judge for the Coram Voices Creative Writing competition for several years.

Do send me your questions for Em, and join us on the 25th February for an inspiring and eye-opening insight into alternative routes into writing non-fiction and fiction for publication!
