Maisie Chan is a Birmingham-Born author who lives in Glasgow. She has been published by Penguin and Hachette. She has taught creative writing at Arvon and for Writing West Midlands. She is a mentor and runs the Glasgow Children’s Writers Group and Bubble Tea (a facebook group for East Asian writers in the UK). She is represented by Alice Sutherland-Hawes at Madeleine Milburn Literary, TV and Film Agency.
Tita Berredo is a children’s writer and illustrator born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has a Masters degree in Children’s Literature and Illustration from Goldsmiths University of London. Tita works as a freelance illustrator in Glasgow and is represented by Fairbank Literary Representation.
Lina is originally from Sweden but moved to Scotland in 2008 to pursue a joint degree in Business & Management / Comparative Literature at the University of Glasgow. After graduating with a First, she went on to a Masters in Publishing Studies for which she earned a Distinction and was awarded two prizes: one for her dissertation on transmedia, and one for her publishing project.
Before joining the Kate Nash Literary Agency, Lina worked within Rights at Canongate Books, and Publicity at Black & White Publishing.
Lina is looking for commercial fiction with a lot of heart, crime books, and any genre of Young Adult fiction.
When Lina isn’t reading, she enjoys live music, wine, being outdoors, and cooking. She lives in Edinburgh with her partner and two cats, Björn and Benny.
