PLEASE NOTE THAT 1-2-1s are now fully booked, however you can still sign up to the workshop on either or both days.

4 workshops, 1-2-1s, hours of free writing time and all-inclusive lunch, snacks and drinks from 9-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Workshop details:

SAT AM: Workshop One: Discovering your world: How to find and map a unique fantasy universe

SAT PM: Workshop Two: Meeting your characters: How to create a compelling hero/villain dynamic

SAT PM: 1-2-1s: Natasha Pulley

SUN AM: Workshop Three: Fantasy elements and magic systems: How to cast a spell over your reader

SUN PM: Workshop Four: Plotting a fantasy novel: How to structure your story

Workshop Leader:

Kesia Lupo studied History at Oxford and Creative Writing at Bath Spa. She is the author of YA fantasy novel We Are Blood and Thunder and also works as Senior Editor at Chicken House, a children’s book publisher based in Somerset.

Natasha Pulley is a historical fiction and fantasy writer. After studying English Literature at Oxford and Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia, she moved to Tokyo for a scholarship from the Daiwa Anglo Japanese foundation. Her first book, The Watchmaker of Filigree Street, was an international bestseller. She lived in Peru for three months researching her second, The Bedlam Stacks, and her third will be released in March 2020. She lives in Bath, where she lectures at Bath Spa University. She also teaches at Cambridge University’s Institute of Continuing Education.
