And follow them on Twitter, via their handle links (also below), too. We’ll be doing live chats and you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss those from the mentors you’re interested in.
You will be allowed to submit to 3 of them when the application opens, so be sure to research who really is the best fit for you and your manuscript.
Option A – submission package/partial
A reminder that these mentors will work with you on a more flexible, relaxed basis with no deadlines. You are likely to finish working with your mentor before the 4 months are up and may want to start querying. However, you may wait and take part in the Agent Showcase, provided you have continued to revise your full manuscript as well as your submission package, and ideally, you wouldn’t query the agents in the showcase beforehand. This is not a firm rule, but a recommendation. Picture books are also in this option, even though you will be doing a full picture book, but the expectation is that this work wouldn’t take the full 4 months for option B.

Option B – full manuscript
This option is for those who wish to fully rewrite and work on their WHOLE MANUSCRIPT. This is a far more intensive and time dependent option. If you cannot commit fully to this over the 4 months of the programme, please consider option A. Your mentors will be contributing a significant amount of time towards your manuscript and we need you to be willing to do the same. This option includes participation in the Agent Showcase.
